Our Community and Outreach
Our Home: New Bern, North Carolina
We’ve found our home in beautiful New Bern, NC and are proud to be a part of such a special, tight-knit community. Our town is a unique combination of young families to retirees and tourists to long-time residents. As a church, we’ve played an active role in the community, sharing God’s love by first loving our neighbors well. When Hurricane Florence rocked our little town in the fall of 2018, we quickly mobilized to help our community walk through difficult times. Through our partnership with several local organizations, we were able to serve and love our community well during that season, meeting both their physical and their spiritual needs.
Our Outreach Partners
Craven County
Disaster Relief Alliance
We continue our work with CCDRA as a part of the Resource Committee in assisting those in our community who are still awaiting restoration of their homes. Our thanks goes to the Anglican Relief and Development Fund for providing us with the funding to make a difference for our neighbors. We have just received notification that additional funds are to be made available to us so that we can help more in the community.
Religious Community Services
Religious Community Services is a Craven County ministry that we support with contributions and food. You can place household supplies and non-perishable food contributions in the labeled bin in the Fellowship Room (next to the bookshelves).
Financial contributions by check are to be made out to Grace Anglican Church with RCS in the memo and placed in the offering plate. RCS is one of our CCDRA partners.
